A mix of fabrics work in unison to deliver stretch and abrasion resistance, durability and comfort. Ripstop nylon is used on the back yoke and from the knees down. Stretchy polyester takes over around the hips. Though these trousers are slim-fitting, this combination of fabrics - as well as articulated knees - means they can meet rock and ice face on, while you negotiate broad-stance moves or high steps. You'll stay visible during pre-dawn summit pushes thanks to reflective detailing and you can customise your fit thanks to the lockable elasticated drawcord at the waist. And whatever size and shape your alpine boots, the zipped lower leg ensures a snug, seamless fit.
